FAQ

Questions businesses often ask.

Straight answers about how our campaigns work. The details of any project, including what is included and how costs are billed, are always confirmed in your custom quote.

Should I choose physical or digital marketing?

It depends on your business, your customers and your area. Physical marketing, such as door hangers, flyers and street teams, is useful for building awareness in a defined neighbourhood. Digital advertising is useful for reaching people who are actively searching or who match a specific local audience.

Many local businesses benefit from a mix of both. During your first conversation, we will recommend a starting point based on your goals and budget rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

Can you combine door-to-door outreach with online advertising?

Yes, this is one of the main things we plan for. A combined campaign might send door hangers or door-to-door introductions to selected streets while running Google or social media ads aimed at the same area, with a consistent message and offer across both.

Seeing your business in more than one place can make your name more familiar. The exact combination is set out in your campaign scope.

How do you choose the campaign area?

We look at where your best customers are, how far you are willing to travel or how far customers are likely to come, local competition and your budget. We may recommend starting with a smaller, focused area and expanding based on what we learn.

You approve the target area before the campaign starts. Some locations may not be available for certain activities because of access rules or permissions.

Are design, printing, distribution and sign removal included?

Only if they are part of your agreed project scope. Each quote lists which of these are included, for example:

  • Design: creating flyers, door hangers, brochures, signs or ad creative.
  • Printing: coordinating print production, usually shown as a separate production cost.
  • Distribution: delivering materials across agreed routes or areas.
  • Sign placement and removal: placing signs only where permission has been granted, and removing them at the end of the campaign where removal is included.

If something is not listed in your quote, please ask before assuming it is included.

How are advertising spend and third-party costs handled?

We keep three types of costs separate: our campaign management fees, production costs (such as printing and sign materials) and advertising budgets paid to platforms like Google or Meta.

Your quote will show each one clearly, along with how third-party costs are billed.

How will I know what happened during the campaign?

We report on campaign activity and results based on what was agreed in your scope. Depending on the services used, a report might include:

  • Areas or routes covered and quantities of materials distributed
  • Events or street-team shifts completed
  • Advertising spend, impressions, clicks and enquiries where these can be tracked
  • Observations and recommended next steps

Some effects of local marketing, such as word of mouth or someone remembering a flyer weeks later, are hard to measure precisely. We will be clear about what the numbers can and cannot tell you. Reporting frequency is confirmed in your quote.

Can you guarantee a certain number of customers or sales?

No. Results depend on many factors, including your offer, pricing, competition, timing and how enquiries are handled. What we commit to is the work in your agreed scope: careful planning, quality materials, the activity we agreed to carry out, and honest reporting.

Do you place signs or materials anywhere?

No. Physical campaigns are subject to location permissions and applicable requirements, such as municipal bylaws, property-owner consent and building or community rules. We only place signs and materials where they are allowed, and some areas may be restricted.

How do I request a custom quote?

Use the enquiry form to tell us about your business, the area you want to reach and what you would like to achieve. Only your name, email and a short description are required. We will get back to you to talk it through, and a custom quote follows once we understand the scope.
